The exhibition seated about 100 guests, who were audience to the photographer explaining and previewing two of her works, This Russia and One to Nothing, about her native homeland, represented by a slideshow on three screens placed strategically throughout the room.<\/p>\n<p>The works depicted showcased some of the religious turmoil still present in the region, as well as heartwarming scenes of camaraderie and team work, like One to Nothing\u2019s title piece, that shows two brothers wrestling on the beach in order to build strength and unison, necessary to survive in the troubled country.<\/p>\n<p>This is the second in the scheduled Spring 2013 Exhibitions, following Lorena Guillen Vaschetti\u2019s opening in January of her mental pondering of the past through photography running through April 14<sup>th<\/sup> and preceding two more, Janelle Lynch\u2019s artist talk, book signing and reception for her work about the culture and past of Mexico on Friday, March 29<sup>th<\/sup> and Naten Dvir\u2019s project featuring 18-year-old Arabs in Israel opening on Friday, February 15<sup>th<\/sup>, from 6-8PM.<\/p>\n<p>Dana Papa\u2019s work, \u201cNot Natasha\u201d, also opens on February 15<sup>th<\/sup> and runs until May 12<sup>th<\/sup>, but the artist talk and book signing have been canceled.
