The Daytona State College Women\u2019s\u00a0Center will host its annual luncheon\u00a0recognizing National Women\u2019s History\u00a0Month from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday,\u00a029, in the Hosseini Center on the\u00a0Daytona Beach Campus.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s luncheon honors local women\u00a0who have made a difference, including Dr.\u00a0Carol Eaton, DSC President; Dr. Wendy\u00a0Libby, Stetson University President; Dr.\u00a0Trudie Kibbe Reed, outgoing president\u00a0of Bethune-Cookman University; Dr.\u00a0Margaret Smith, superintendent of Volusia\u00a0County Schools; and Janet Valentine,\u00a0superintendent of Flagler County Schools.<\/p>\n
National Women\u203as History Month\u00a0Center hosts History Month lunch\u00a0is an opportunity to learn about and\u00a0honor women\u203as achievements today\u00a0and throughout history. The luncheon is\u00a0open to the public, but seating is limited.\u00a0Reservations and payment must be made\u00a0by March 22.
