Teriyaki Madness is back and better than ever. Its grand reopening of the Daytona Beach store was on Oct. 21, in the restaurant\u2019s location across from Daytona State College at 1173 W. International Speedway Blvd.<\/p>\n
Representatives and \u201copeners\u201d for the company flew in from their Denver headquarters to give the media and community members a preview of the restaurant\u2019s menu in preparation for that weekend\u2019s official opening. As upbeat music played in the background, guests were introduced to the history of the company, new owners of the Daytona location and the most important thing \u2014 food.<\/p>\n
Attendees were treated to a tasting of the most popular dishes, including its best-selling chicken teriyaki dish, Yakisoba noodles, stir-fry vegetables and fried rice. Because every bowl is cooked to order, each dish is highly customizable so there is something for just about everyone, including gluten
\nfree options.<\/p>\n
They also introduced to the \u201cchork,\u201d a cousin of the \u201cspork.\u201d A chork has chopsticks on one and a fork on the other and are made of a stronger material than most \u201cfast food\u201d cutlery, so they can even be brought home and reused.<\/p>\n
Under the new management of Chukk Mills and Brian Mogensen, Teriyaki Madness returns to the city boyoued by their combined 45 years of experience in the restaurant industry. They both expressed confidence in their brand\u2019s unique product.<\/p>\n

\u201cI fell in love with the food. All our sauces are made from scratch in the kitchen,\u201d said Mills, who also is co-owner of the franchise. \u201cLeadership on the corporate side is incredible.\u201d<\/p>\n
With fresh, never-frozen ingredients and customization of any menu item, management says there is something for the whole family in the casual dining restaurant.<\/p>\n
Mills and Mogensen believe it is important to give back to the community. To that end, on Oct. 24 a dollar from each bowl sold was donated to the American Cancer Society. In addition to giving to charity, the restaurant is creating up to 25 new jobs.<\/p>\n
The nationwide chain has outlets stretching from California to Virginia and from Montana to the latest location in Daytona Beach. The new outlet offers catering and an App for mobile ordering to go, as well as in-store dining. Sauces are made fresh in-house and hours are from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.<\/p>\n
