We all know where we were when we received the news. Copious amounts of emotions coursed and surged through our minds and bodies that horrific day. Americans everywhere were riddled with shock, dismay, disbelief and an immediate, completely overwhelming need to be with loved ones as the news of November 1, 2011 broke.<\/p>\n

With those futile words, my heart breaks inside my chest. An unbearable pain resonates within me, as the topic continues to take center stage in celebrity news, gossip columns, magazines and even apps on the iPhone. Like many individuals, I was completely taken by the whirlwind romance\u00a0between Kim and Kris. He was living and playing basketball in New Jersey and she was busy across the states in California, wearing bathing suits to work and having adorable fights with her sisters while filming \u201cKeeping Up with the Kardashians.\u201d It\u2019s no secret that Kim has bad luck in love. Then Kim met and fell in love with NFL football player Reggie Bush and our hearts, again, leapt for joy. We were all so ready for the proposal. Every day we checked the blogosphere to see if ole Reg had finally made an honest woman out of our girl. Sadly, Reggie had a hard time dealing with Kim\u2019s awesomeness and we were all dealt an another unfortunate blow. Deep-seated pain and angst were felt as our worlds shattered.<\/p>\n Would Kimmy K ever find love? Would there ever be a “sir” man enough for Kim?<\/p>\n Patrick Swayze said it best in the hit ’80s flick \u201cDirty Dancing\u201d \u2500 \u201cNo one puts baby in a corner.\u201d And Kim Kardashian proved that to be so. Out of the ashes she rose like the phoenix, taking million-dollar vacations, becoming a spokeswoman for a weight loss pill and even dying her hair blond! The nation watched in awe as America\u2019s Armenian sweetheart got back in the dating saddle again. We guessed and took Facebook quizzes as to which knight in shinning armor would win our princess\u2019 heart. Would it be Kanye? Or John Mayer? Or maybe someone equally awesome as she, like Nick Cannon?<\/p>\n Enter left stage: Kris Humphries. No one knew who the hell this guy was, but what we did know is exactly what Kim knew\u2026 he was The One.<\/p>\n Each week our hearts soared as details of their most real moments as a couple were caught on film in the newest season of \u201cKeeping up with the Kardashians.\u201d Their precious love unfolded like a rare beautiful flower leading up to his over-the-top proposal, which wasn\u2019t staged for the show\u2019s ratings. It was the most perfect relationship ever. Finally, Kim had found the love of her life and her soul mate. Just mere months after the royal wedding in England, the world gathered around their television sets and watched America\u2019s royal wedding play out Kardashian style. Money was no object, no expense spared and Kim and Kris made millions of dollars as they allowed us into their love celebration. What better way to begin married life? The American people could finally rest at night knowing Kim had married the man of her dreams. Little did we know \u2500 watching Kim walked down the aisle \u2500 it was the beginning of the end.<\/p>\n Flash forward 72 days later, Nov. 1, 2011, when news broke worldwide that Kim was filing for divorce. Our hearts were shattered, lives destroyed, the ink on our K&K foreva’ tattoo hadn\u2019t even dried. Hot tears ran down our cheeks when we were forced to face the of love lost by “irreconcilable differences.”<\/p>\n In a statement to E! (“The Number 1 News Entertainment Program in the World!) Kim said, “After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision.\u201d<\/p>\n The voices of a thousand supportive and heartbroken souls in America responded, \u201cYes, we do understand Kim.\u201d<\/p>\n Understandably, Kim has tried extremely hard to stay out of the public eye during this devastating time. But just as she rose from the ashes of her breakup with Reggie Bush, Kim Kardashian will rise again. She will pick herself up by her Christian Louboutin sky-high pumps to find love again in this cruel, cold and loveless world. \nLong distance did not make either of them flinch. Their love would conquer all. In fact, the twosome remained \u201cgrounded\u201d and continued to keep their love\u2019s flame ablaze, even after Kim\u2019s no nonsense sisters, Khloe and Kourtney, disparaged Kris and his fame-whoring ways. Kim let her family\u2019s concern roll right off her massive hind quarters and directly onto the floor where they belonged.<\/p>\n

\nWe thought hit recording artist RayJ was the one until he went against everything Kim stood for and sold their very private sex tape. It\u2019s common knowledge Kim made that tape with every intention of it being kept private. Yes, she wound up famous and insurmountably wealthy due to the tape\u2019s release, but that was just Kimmy K turning those old proverbial lemons into lemonade. Obviously that relationship went South, but not without ripping out our hearts on its way down.<\/p>\n
