In no particular order, these are five films college students should see before graduating.<\/p>\n
\u201cEternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind<\/strong>\u201d (2004) – Jim Carrey is trying to forget a girl by using an experimental memory eraser, but soon regrets it. The camera work in the film and emotional connection in with the characters will make you want to relive this one again and again.<\/p>\n \u201cShane<\/strong>\u201d (1953) – A retired gunfighter helps a family and protects their farm. This isn\u2019t so much a western as it is a look at how important it is for society to help each other and accomplish things with their own two hands. Plus there is some great gun play.<\/p>\n \u201cStar Wars: A New Hope<\/strong>\u201d (1977) – Because it\u2019s The Wars. If you haven\u2019t seen it, you are missing out on a piece of American culture.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Grapes of Wrath<\/strong>\u201d (1940) – A close look at a family having to move west to find work during the Great Depression. This film is as important today as it was then. It deals with unemployment, family dynamics and what people will do to find happiness where there is none.<\/p>\n \u201cHigh Fidelity<\/strong>\u201d (2000) – A guy makes a top five breakup list after his most recent girlfriend dumps him. It\u2019s the adult version of Ferris Beuller and deals with relationships and personalities in one of the funniest romantic comedies ever.
