This certificate, known as Advanced Cybersecurity Education, will be available to take this coming Fall. Gone are the days where people see cyber forensics as a job for actors on the CSI series\u2014the ACE program highlights just how important and exciting cyber forensics can be.<\/p>\n<p>Professionals in this field of studying will using digital evidence, relating to cybercrime, to help better network security. The possibility of investigations being used in criminal prosecutions is also an option. Consortium level colleges will offer associate level degrees. These degrees will help students toward the goal of earning a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.<\/p>\n<p>The pay rate for cybersecurity personnel is no laughing matter either. According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, as of 2012, the average pay of an Information Security Analyst was about $86,170 per year. This averages out to $41.43 an hour. When comparing this job to that of an average food serving position, which averages to $18,400 per year, it\u2019s safe to say that cybersecurity pays far better than the average job.<\/p>\n<p>As far as job options go, it\u2019s safe to say that cybersecurity has good pickings. Cyber forensic professionals work in a variety of places.
