The student massage clinic at Daytona State College will be open to the public each Thursday through Dec. 6, except Nov. 22 when the College will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving.
Offering full-body, 50-minute wellness massages under faculty supervision, students in the vocational credit certificate program gain hands-on experience while clients enjoy the soothing effects of therapeutic massage. A fee of $21 supports the clinic and provides scholarships for students; payment in cash or checks made payable to Daytona State College.
The massage clinic is open to the public on Thursdays with appointments at 4 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Clients should bring with them two twin sheets (preferably one fitted and one flat), one pillowcase and one large towel. Alternatively, a $5 fee for disposable linens will apply.
The clinic is located in Health Sciences Hall, room 107 on the Daytona Beach Campus at 1200 W. International Speedway Boulevard.
