Phase 2 of Daytona State College’s Master Plan is well underway with the rise of the new student 
and workforce center, which replaces Bergengren Hall, which was demolished last summer. When finished, the new center will house library services, academic support, a food court area and student club meeting rooms, among other features. The building is expected to have a gala opening spring 2019. Phase 2 will also include a renovated main entry and an additional 243 parking spots.
