The Daytona State College Alumni & Friends Association invites DSC alumni, friends, students, faculty and staff to submit entries for the 2016 Homecoming event design. The winning design may be used as part of the event promotion and printed on materials such as flyers, postcards and banners.
By participating in the contest, the artist will relinquish all claims to any and all copyrights, royalties and other benefits derived from the sale or reproduction of this work.
To enter the Contest, eligible participants must:
1) Create a design that includes the dates, November 4-5, 2016, the text “Falcons Flying High,” and Daytona State College Alumni & Friends Association
2) Convert the design into a usable web version and a scalable vector, print quality version of the logo. The logo must adapt well to electronic and print media, to reproduction on small and large surfaces, and to use in coloror in grayscale.
3) Email your design, along with contact information to alumni@DaytonaState.edu, entry deadline is 11:59 p.m. (EST), March 21, 2016.
FORMATTING: For purposes of submission, please submit the design in .png, .jpg or .psd for (Resolution of 300 dpi) AND as a .pdf file (less than 10MB). If the design incorporates non-standards fonts, you must be able to provide us with the font should your design be selected.
The winner will receive a $250 book voucher, credit for the winning design in print and other media and the opportunity to be featured in an issue of the DSC Magazine.
The winning design will be used as the Official design for DSC Homecoming 2016, including promotional items, and on the official website. All entry designs will be screened and judged by the Homecoming Committee members. The winner will be notified by telephone or e-mail by April 29.
